DRAINING DRIPSTOP

Controlling Condensation

Moisture condenses on the underside of the uninsulated metal roof when the temperature and humidity conditions reach the dew point. Drops of water forms and starts to fall if there is a lot of condensation and this could cause rot, rust or damage to fittings or may even drip from the roof.

The DR!PSTOP solution

DripStop is a grey polyester fleece membrane which is factory fitted to the underside of a profile to control surface condensation to enable the reduction of the risk of condensation drips and to encourage drying in ventilated roofs.

Advantages

Technical Strengths of DripStop

  • Bacteria Resistance

  • Improves Acoustic Insulation

For End Users

  • Durability (DRIPSTOP is not susceptible to ripping, tearing or deterioration)

  • Easy to clean (use a hose or pressure washer)

For Constructors

  • Easy handling (windy conditions do not cause a problem)

  • DripStop arrives at site already in place and set to be installed with the roofing panels immediately

Some areas of uses

  • Agricultural buildings

  • Sport halls

  • Aircraft hangars

  • Public buildings

  • Garages and more

Technical strengths of our product

  • Insulates the sheet, therefore, slows the formation of condensate

  • Condensate is prevented from dripping from the underside of the roof

DripStop can be used in virtually any environment or structure where condensation is a problem. Please note that DripStop cannot prevent condensation. The building must be adequately ventilated to allow the material to dry out between the cycles in order for the fleece to work properly.

DripStop increases protection and maximises savings yet maintains the structural elements and aesthetics of a metal roof.

  • Combustability A2-S1, d0 (EN 13501-1)

  • Money saving (up to 25%)

  • Time saving (no need to roll a vapor barrier over the purlins and seal and roll out insulation on top of that)

  • Warehouses

  • Industrial plants

  • Self storage

  • Residential buildings

  • Condensate is held safely until it evaporates by ventilation

DripStop anti-condensation felt has specially designed pockets formed in the membrane which provide a medium for trapping moisture. This moisture is held by the DripStop until conditions go back below the dew point and it is released back into the air in the form of normal humidity. DripStop provides an additional layer of protection for your metal roof and is also resistant to aging.
